Besides working at BNI, Michael likes to travel with his friends, play poker (professionally if possible), and is always opening his ears into starting new businesses. He went to UCSB for business/econ. His friends that he went to school with have opened up their own businesses, and it didn’t cost that much money. Besides looking into business opportunities, he likes going to festivals, going to Burning Man, and would love to go to Thailand for New Year’s if possible.

Dream gig: Open my own business to plan festivals for people.

On working at Bargain: I like it. There are quite a few reasons I have chosen to work here. I like it for the scheduling benefits. I like to work really hard, make my money and then take off for a couple of weeks. I get to make my own check, and if I fall behind on my bills, I just come in to work extra hours and catch back up. Also, I like having health benefits, without that, I would not be working here.

Advice to the world: Bow down on your knees and start praying.

What would you do if you had a billion dollars?: I would buy an island, populate it with exotic animals. I would like to enjoy a simple life, and being a purist. I would just have my friends and family out there.

My dream trip: I would go to Thailand right now. I see so many possibilities for great success there. I have friends that have moved out there and have made a great life for themselves.

My favorite food: Sushi.
